The Navigator beachfront villa - located on Rarotonga's beautiful Muri lagoon

When the seven canoes left the Cook Islands from Muri Lagoon heading for Aotearoa, a navigator boat was at the forefront guiding the canoes. This modern house, The Navigator, takes its name from that event and is situated on the lagoon near the departure point.
The Navigator is owned by a descendent of Edward Young, midshipman, a companion of Fletcher Christian on the HMS Bounty.

The Navigator is a large spacious 2-storey beachfront villa located in a secluded part of Muri Beach, with two bedrooms upstairs looking out to the uninhabited islands across the lagoon.
It can accommodate up to 4 people. It is an absolute beachfront property located right next door to Sokala Villas, which is owned by a close friend of ours.

To maximize the view of the lagoon and islets, the walls upstairs dividing the bedrooms do not go completely to the front wall and windows. There is a small walkway between the 2 bedrooms, which opens out onto the upstairs deck.
Downstairs is a fully equipped kitchen, spacious lounge/dining area that opens out onto the deck with your own private pool. The Navigator is located right on the beach so you have the choice of a swim in the lagoon or a fresh water dip in your own pool.
Sorry but we do not accommodate guests under the age of 10 years in The Navigator for safety reasons.

The Navigator has complimentary Kayaks, snorkeling gear, barbeque that can be used during the duration of your stay. There are Restaurants close by that are available for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Rarotonga's award-winning Flame Tree Restaurant is next door, and is open for dinner seven days a week. A small store, open seven days a week from 6am to 11pm & a laundramat & takeaway 200 metres from The Navigator. We have a minimum stay of 4 days.
